- Keeping
Secrets
Are you good at keeping secrets?
Could you keep a secret about something that could change a
person's life forever, even yours? Winne was handed the
secret of the spring and where it was. Was hse going to keep
that secret for her new friends the Tucks?
Task
Take the role of a friend to Winnie
and design a card and write a letter to give her advise on
what to do.
Process and Resources
- 1. After reading Chapter 25,
think about all that has happened to Winnie and if she's
still going to keep the spring a secret. If she was a
true friend, would she keep the secret? Would she drink
the water herself?
- 2. Make a list of encouraging
thoughts you could give Winne as a friend to advise her
in making her own decision.
- 3. Use Chapter 12 when Tuck
spoke with Winnie about the cycle to help support some of
your thoughts.
- 4. Create a card you could send
to Winnie. Write your own quote or saying to be on the
front of the card to share with your friend Winnie
