Casting

Just prior to the Portland, Ind. Antique Engine Show, the Glassford family hosted a demonstration of making some castings. The main part for me was making the molds of sand. I had never seen this before and was too busy watching and listening to take pictures. I want to thank the whole family, especially the little grand daughter serving cookies.

John can use old Briggs and I assume Kohler and Tecumseh blocks for the cast iron. I don’t think he would turn down scrap aluminum and brass either. I want to save mine to take to them next year.

Thankyou all at Grandpa’s Casting Co. 1-888-271-6696
