Episode 26:
Ed, Al and Winry stop off in Rush City, the automail mecca, so Winry can drool over some automail. Ed uses alchemy to
foil some automail arm wrestlers who were using alchemy themselves in order to fix matches. Winry discovers an extraordinary
automail mechanic and his adopted daughter, who has three automail limbs. The daughter admires her caretaker's work, and wants
to promote it to others, but the shop is located in a backalley area, and the mechanic doesn't seem to care to promote his
own goods.
Winry feels pity and suggests that if someone using the exratordinary mechanic's automail can defeat a National Alchemist,
that would prove how great the automail is. Ed's watch gets stolen, and he retrieves it without using alchemy.
The automail mechanic advises that when he makes his automail, he makes with the automail user in mind, giving it extra
care and attention. Winry hears this, takes it to heart, and cries out at Ed later, begging him to stop his quest to
restore his own body.
