San Diego Fish Club Meeting
Lotus and I ran down to the San Diego Tropical Fish Club meeting last night to catch a program about fish rooms. Definately
some good info that will be put to use as we enclose the patio and build our own fish room. We will still have the planted
show tanks mostly in the house, but as I've gotten more and more into breeding, this just seems like the logical next step.
The San Diego Club is definately worth the time for a visit, and their November auction is a must attend event as they literally
have 50 times the amount of items up for bid when compared to our small club in the desert. I'll add more about the fish room
talk later, sorry it's been so long since I've posted but between work and the fish, there hasn't been much ME time lately.

Updates
Well it's been a long time since my last post...simply been too busy lately. Here's an update on the angels: Took 50%
of them to the club auction but that still leaves us with about 40 angels. Had to move them to a 55g tank as they are getting
big. Here's a picture just before the move.
Also picked up some very pretty gold rams...unfortunately we lost two of them to infection, but one is doing fine and
looks great.

So Busy
Well no time for new pics or anything of real value today. The angel fry are really growing great and will be ready to start
selling or giving away soon. We also had a batch of cherry shrimp bless us with quite a few little copies recently, so the
next Desert Fish Club auction should have plenty of stock!

New Loaches
Well I made the trip up to Seattle once again on business, but I did have plenty of extra time for pleasure...so a trip
to the Seattle Aquarium and then the local fish stores. I ran into these Batik Loaches and they begged me for a plane ride
home, so here's a pic :)

Koi Angels at it now
Well the Koi Angels in the 87 gallon have decided to get in on the fun and attempted to lay thier first eggs. Of course
this was after terrorizing the 3rd Koi Angel (odd man out). They managed to get some eggs on a leaf and then fertilize them,
but they knocked most of them off and then made a meal out of the falling eggs. I'll be prepared for them next time and put
some slate in the tank for them to lay on so I can steal the eggs and raise them.
