We have two of these and maybe because we only have two we hardly ever see them. Like most loaches they are listed as
social fish and best kept in groups of 3 or more. These can be fairly territorial loaches and will usually let someone know
when they have invaded their space. They are also easily startled by movements outside the tank. They do need caves or some
place to hide. Like most loaches they love to eat snails.
