Siamese Algae Eater aka Crossocheilus Siamensis

Other Common Name: SAE
Origin: S.E. Asia
Temperature: 75 - 80
PH: 6.0 - 7.5
Maximum Size: 6 inches
Temperment: Peaceful community fish, Adults can sometimes be aggressive

Often mistaken for a Flying Fox or confused with a Chinese Algae Eater (confused by name as they look nothing alike). This is a great fish to have in any community tank, playful and interesting to watch, they are also effective algae eaters unlike the Chinese Algae Eaters which would rather attack other fish. A planted tank is a must for these fish as you will often see them sunning themselves while laying on leaves.
