Yes, sing that to the christmas tune or don't. But check out the latest pic of the angel fry. Many of them are starting to
look like angels in body shape now, and have started developing thier coloring.
Well we managed to get through the yolk feedings and now have free-swimming fry. Alot of free-swimming fry! It looks to be
at least 50, maybe almost double that...hard to count the little buggers. Here's a pic:
Sorry it's been so long since I've blogged, someone got on my case so here I go again.
The angels decided to lay eggs again, but this time I put in a piece of slate in the tank, so they layed the eggs on the slate
rather than the filter intake tube. This allowed me to remove the slate from the tank, as all other attempts just made meals
for the other fish. Here's a shot of the parents
After putting the slate in a 15g tank, we added Methyline Blue to help the eggs from developing fungus. Only had a few go
white and within 3 days we had far too many wigglers to count. They don't look much like angels yet, but after 3-5 days of
feeding off of thier yolk sacs, they will be free-swimming and starting to look like angels. Here's a pic of what they look
like 3 days after hatching
I'll post an update as soon as I have pics of them swimming.
