RABBI GERSHON IS A JEWISH RABBI THAT IS AN ESPOUSER OF JEWISH SPIRITUALITY AND OF THE UNIVERSALIST TEACHINGS FOR THE FUTURE
BROTHERHOOD OF ALL PEOPLES, RACES, RELIGIONS, SEXES AND SEXUALITIES.
Rabbi Gershon believes that we are at the present time entering into the epoc known as the "Age of The Birthing of
the Messiah; The Age of Shekhinah; Tikupat Deli (The Age of Aquarius)" and that we may even live to witness the establishment
of the Society of Justice as envisioned by the Prophets Isaiah and Micah, among other of the ancient Hebrew Vision-Bringers.
All of the opinions on this website, unless otherwise stated, are solely those of Rabbi Gershon, the EcoRebbe, who is a JEWISH
Rabbi and Rebbe (not a so-called "Messianic" or "Hebrew Christian Rabbi"), but a Rabbi fully within the
framework of the JEWISH TRADITION.
Rabbi Gershon believes in and teaches a philosophy of a NON-SEXIST, EGALITARIAN, ACCEPTANCE ORIENTED FLEXIDOX JUDAISM,
as he perceives within the teachings of Rabbi Gershon Winkler (shlita), and of JEWISH RENEWAL, as he sees it is taught by
Rabbis Zalman Schachter-Shalomi (shlita) and by Rabbi Michael Lerner (shlita), and by Rabbi Arthur Waskow (shlita).
The way that these methods of Jewish teaching are perceived, understood and then taught are solely the responsibility
of Rabbi Gershon.
Thus, Rabbi Gershon GLADLY takes FULL RESPONSIBILITY for how he teaches the Judaism which was passed on to him by his
own teachers.
Rabbi Gershon's understanding and take on his Jewish tradition and training is how HE UNDERSTANDS HIS SCHOOL AND BRANCH
OF JUDAISM and it is not that of any single particular branch of Jewish thought or philosophy, or of it's teachers, rabbis,
or sages.
*RABBI GERSHON STEINBERG-CAUDILL'S JEWISH FLEXIDOX PHILOSOPHY AND BELIEFS*
Rabbi Gershon Steinberg-Caudill subscribes to the belief in a SACRED GLOBAL CONSCIOUS COMMUNITY wherein the followers
of ALL religions and ALL spiritual Paths are but a PART,like a piece of a Divine puzzle, yet a necessary part, of the ONE
Rainbow religion that is ALL from the ONE God who is the FORCE of Transformation, Healing and Change in the Universe.
FOLLOWING AUTHORITY FIGURES WITHOUT QUESTION
Rabbi Gershon does not believe in accepting the teachings of any person or text without question. He does not follow gurus
nor Prophets blindly. He believes that he has the right to draw from his own intuition, training and understanding to help
him evaluate the teachings of his teachers and Rebbes. He suggests that you do the same, even with these teachings.
As you read, and digest, the various pages on this website, you will notice that Rabbi Gershon will often refer to the
teachings of his own holy teachers and Rebbes. Yet, just as often, and maybe even more so, Rabbi Gershon's opinion will differ
somewhat from the teachings of those whom he considers his holy teachers and Rebbes. Within Judaism this differing in opinion
is accepted and even encouraged. The Torah is revealed in every generation anew and the revealed Torah is as given to Moses
on Mt Sinai.

Forums.
Rabbi Gershon seeks to share material that will further promote interfaith relations, gay-lesbian acceptance, tolerance,
inter-racial relations, healing modalities and methods, Jewish Flexidoxy and Shamanism (indigenous Judaic traditions); and
ecological responsibility towards our planet and its other two, four and multi-legged; swimming, winged, walking and hopping,
growing and still inhabitants.

I endorse yer website.
Again, you're beautiful! I love your responses. Next to mine, they are the best I see these days, sometimes even surpassing
mine.

What does one say about an incredibly knowledgeable Rabbi with glittering brilliant insights into the human condition? He
brings a deep humanity to even the most shunned and misunderstood members of the human family. Two thumbs up for the brilliant
philosopher and theoretician. Who else can discourse about Torah, philosophy, multi-culturalism, history, Native American
issues, shamanism, gay rights and squirrel hunting? A feast to the eye and dessert for the mind. Definitely a beloved sage
for all people and all times.

I majored in Hebrew at the University of Utah some years back. My professors were all Jewish and I was exposed to a broad
spectrum of Jewish culture, thought and literature throughout history. What the good Rabbi posts to this forum is completely
consistent with I observed as a Hebrew studies student.
In other words, Rabbi Gershon Caudill does not merely present a radical fringe point of view. In my opinion, his posts
are quite consistent with the diverse thinking expressed in Judaism presently and historically. (Keep in mind that there are
divisions within the broad umbrella of Judaism, so one should not think that a single Rabbi speaks for all Jewish people.)
Furthermore, the scriptural expositions the rabbi gives square with the Biblical and Hebrew studies I have made into the
subject.
(And) when we are exposed to the view points of others and give open consideration to what might on the surface appear
to be "lame statements", we take the first step to emerge from the "hole" of organized religion.

In my ministry, I often frequent chat rooms in AOL that deal with issues of being a gay christian. The question we get
asked most frequently is can I be gay and Christian. One of the links that I send out regularly is Rabbi Gershon Caudill's
excellent website. It is clear, concise and to the point. I'm grateful to Rabbi Gershon for the work that he has done on
this website,
