Los Angeles County Disaster Communications Service, East County Stations (DCS) is a volunteer organization that provides emergency communications utilizing personally owned amateur radio equipment.  DCS was formed by Los Angeles County Ordinance in 1951 and is administered by the Sheriff's Department for the Los Angeles County Board of Supervisors.

Our group supports the Los Angeles County Sheriff's  San Dimas (Station 8) and Walnut (Station 29) stations.  In addition, a city emergency radio communications group from Azusa (A.A.C.E.S.) is assigned to the East County Stations DCS but supports their respective city.

Frequently, we provide communication support to the San Dimas Mountain Rescue Team during extended searches.
