
Alexander Dzigurski II was born in California in
1968. Son of the renowned seascape artist, Alex Dzigurski. Upon
receiving his degree from the American Academy of Art in Chicago
in 1990, Mr. Dzigurski continued his education through intensive
training with his father and further developed his skills through
drawing and painting from life.
Inspired by nature, Mr. Dzigurski travels often to scenic
locations throughout the world. The many subjects for his oil
paintings include, the Big Sur coastline of California, the
Hawaiian Islands, the coast of Maine, Canadian Rockies, the Grand
Tetons, Norway, and various Mediterranean scenes.
Mr. Dzigurski paints canvases of all sizes, including large
scale or "heroic" size masterworks. Along with his works in oil,
he also continues to produce drawings, watercolors, and pastels,
while continuing to pursue figural studies.
