The Chicago
Area DX Club (CADX) was made up of people with an interest in shortwave and other
radio listening and monitoring. The club used to publish monthly
publication, "DX Chicago", which included loggings, information on QSLs, AM/FM/TV, MW and shortwave DXing.
In addition, there were frequent "get togethers"
or meetings, where members met to discuss DXing and
the hobby. Membership was free and open to all radio listeners whether they
lived in the

2007, the interest in the club died down to the point where the regular
publications and meetings stopped to take place.
