Please join me in supporting Valerie Wormell for re-election to the Westford Board of Selectmen. From the minute Val first took office in 2005, she began to respond to her neighbors. Over the past three years, she has written letters of recommendation for students and scouts, for families wishing to adopt, or lent her support by joining petitions to improve the Westford Public Schools. She listens to residents and mediates to solve problems.

Children’s safety is important to her. When the imposition of bus fees posed serious traffic and safety concerns, Val helped coordinate all Town departments and area businesses to lessen the impact. Working on cleaning up the Abbot oil spill, students’ health was a priority and no expense was spared. Adding door security systems to the schools gained her support. Westford is a safe place to raise a family, especially with Val looking out for all of us.

As Val’s neighbor for 14 years, I know she works tirelessly to enable everyone to share a high quality of life. I want Val Wormell to remain on the Westford Board of Selectmen and will be voting for her on May 6. I urge you to join me.
