The Sandhills Chapter of the International Association of Administrative Professionals (IAAP) was chartered in 1990.  Our Chapter works to promote our mission and goals in support of IAAP.  We meet at 5:30 p.m. on the second Wednesday of each month at Sandhills Community College.  If available, we meet in the Sledge Board Room which is located in Stone Hall.  Our programs are of an educational nature and are presented through various methods  including speakers, video classes, and hands-on workshops.

Members of the Sandhills Chapter strive to promote an atmosphere of friendship and support, enhancing our personal and professional development through the International Association of Administrative Professionals.  We also promote the Certified Professional Secretary (CPS) and Certified Administrative Professional (CAP) certifications.

Business planning and scheduling

The CPS and CAP certification examinations are offered twice a year, in May and November.  Individuals who obtain one or both of these certifications are among the very best in their field.

Contact us if you would like information on membership in IAAP, CPS/CAP certification, or student membership in the Sandhills Chapter.

If you would like to do a presentation for our Chapter, please contact us.  We are always interested in topics of a professional nature, and we also enjoy topics that are entertaining!
