The vice-chair presided over the meeting.
30 October minutes—amended and ratified (9-0)
A draft of a questionnaire regarding midterm comments was distributed.
12 moved that the Senate ratify the document.
Failed (0-9)
Follow-up reports were made about the school's response to the national situation.
10 moved that a committee be made to make known events of our nation.
Passed unanimously (11-0)
MV volunteered to carry out the resolution.
12 moved that the Student Judiciary Committee issue be referred to a committee to be composed of volunteer students and faculty members of the
upper school.
Passed unanimously (11-0)
JM asked class Senators to make the following announcements to their classes:
- The upper school will be bowling on the morning of Wednesday, 21 November. Students are to check in with their advisors at the normal time.
Students will return to school by noon. There will be no cost to students.
- Student volunteers are needed to serve on the scheduling committee and on hiring search committees. The scheduling committee will draft schedules for
the spring of this school year and for next school year. The hiring search committees will recommend substitutes to replace those teachers on foreign
travel this spring. Interested students should contact JM.
