The synchronization of clocks was discussed.
Recommendations included: an audible signal at certain times of the day; a monthly synchronization by the maintenance staff; a large clock
placed prominently on campus; advisories setting clocks by a reputable website.
IR will find a reputable website with an online clock and will place a note in the Upper School Bulletin requesting advisories to set clocks to
this site.
Parking was discussed.
The discussion focused around ways to encourage carpooling.
It was pointed out that there have not been major parking issues this year.
The point was made that the new graduated license law may make carpooling more difficult.
12 will bring the report from last year's carpool parking committee.
The formation of a student judiciary committee was considered.
The question of confidentiality was raised. Personal interests of the members of such a committee could, it was pointed out, also render the committee
ineffective. Random selection of students was a suggestion. The chair will contact other schools in the area that have a student judiciary system in
place.
Respectfully Submitted,
