Senate Minutes for Friday September 22, 2000

-first issue, continued from our first session, was again the scheduling problems in relation to fall term finals and thanksgiving break.
-ir proposed the following motion : I move that membership in all committees of the Bush school be open to students, parents and faculty, and that the formation of committees be advertised to all of the above groups.
-everyone agreed that there were revisions to be made, especially concerning the word all. after some discussion, TD moved to table the issue. We voted unanimously in favor of the motion.
-next issue, JM brought up the conflicts caused by early dismissals for athletes, especially on Tuesday afternoons. one solution he came up with was to switch block A, which runs from 2 until 2:50, and advisory and flex, which run from 10:10 until 11:00. however, there were thoughts that we might have problems with attendance. we agreed to finish our discussion today, and thats where we left off.
