New Business
  1. Use of Basemont
  2. Schedule report from faculty
  3. Class Senators asked to repeat the announcement made earlier this academic year that students interested in serving on hiring search committees for spring-term substitutes should speak to JM
Extended Senate MeetingThe Senate decided that it would be a good idea to have a meeting of at least three hours during the spring trimester and that the best way to accomplish this would be to extend one of the regular weekly Senate meetings into the after-school hours. April 30 was mentioned as a good date for such a meeting. Possible conflicts include sports practices and other after school activities.
School Materials Charges
  1. Charging money for printing and copying may reduce the amount of wasted paper. The Technology Director is in the process of acquiring software with the capability of monitoring print activity by account.
  2. Attitude is a part of the reason for wasting paper. An illustration of the quantity of resources used by the school may change this attitude.
  3. There was a desire to require lab fees for more classes than currently have them.

Respectfully Submitted,
