Meeting in Benaroya Theater due to temperature
April 2 minutes not ready.
JM reported that the scheduling subcommittee is in need of new members to work on the fall 2002 schedule. Student volunteers' names should be given to JM.
The extended Senate meeting on April 30, 2002 will deal with the effectiveness of the Senate. Effort will be made to get as many people as possible to attend.
The apparent lack of interest in and respect for the Senate by the general populace may reflect the same cultural lack of appreciation and respect for the
school itself that manifested itself in other issues discussed by the Senate earlier in the year.
The chair asked that class Senators moderate discussions at class meetings this week in preparation for the extended meeting.
