11 and MD are not on campus this trimester. AH was elected by the eleventh grade to fill its vacancy. The faculty has not yet elected a representative to fill its vacancy.

New Business
  1. Reminder that there will be an extended Senate meeting on April 30
  2. The secretary has created a Senate website; comments and suggestions will be made at the next meeting
Budget Expenditure ConsiderationThe Big Broadcast AMP requested $601.50 for technological equipment for use in its upcoming live webcast. The equipment could also be used to document other school events; to implement the Senate’s resolutions of Oct. 30, 2001 and Nov. 6, 2001 regarding a campus newsroom; and to supplement classes.
  1. GV, Big Broadcast representative, answered questions about the project.
  2. There were concerns that this expenditure would take 75% of the Senate’s remaining budget.
Motion (12):To spend $601.50 of the Senate Budget on the items outlined in the Grant Request Form received from the Big Broadcast AMP on March 12, 2002.

Budget Request FormA draft of a new budget request form was distributed. Comments were made. 12 will revise the form and will bring in a new draft at a future meeting.
