New Business
  1. There was a request that the side door of Wissner be unlocked
  2. There was a request that the lines be repainted in the Lower School parking lot
  3. JM will take both of the above requests to the maintenance department
  4. A revised draft of the Senate grant request form was shown to the Senators; no action was taken
  5. Procedures for filling vacancies were announced; there will be several vacancies in the spring trimester
Furniture/Student Lounge
  1. A committee is researching furniture options with the hope of finding furniture that is both inexpensive and sturdy
  2. There must be a separate area for students to study quietly and for students to be loud
  3. The Zen Room is often filled above capacity; suggestions for additional lounge or quiet work areas included the conference rooms on the west end of Wissner, Basemont, the Wissner computer lab, and unused classrooms
