* Completely reorganized Xyan desktop publishing/pre-press department, including physical layout, and computer file system. Developed job-tracking database in FileMaker Pro and initiated file-handling procedures. Cited numerous times for work excellence.

Did electronic pre-press work for traditional offset printing as well as Xerox Docutech and Docucolor systems.

November 1998 to December 1999 - Freelance work in design, editing and print production, including long-term assignments for ABC Radio Disney, LaserTech Color, PGC Advertising and the Dallas Morning News.

April 1994 to October 1998 - Production Manager/Editor/Writer/Webmaster for Quest Publishing Company, Dallas, TX.

1986 to 1994 - Owner/operator of DME Productions, music services for commercial video, song demos and related projects, Dallas, TX.

January 1992 to January 1993 - Computer animation internship, Lone Star Picture and Sound, Dallas, TX.

September 1981 to December 1993 - General partner/business manager of Stallion, nationally recognized recording act signed to Capitol Records, Nashville, TN.

February 1978 to September 1981 - Electronic keyboard salesman for Arnold & Morgan Music Company, Garland, TX.

Graduated Magna Cum Laude with a bachelor of arts degree in Interdisciplinary Studies from the University of Texas at Dallas in 1992. The degree combines computer science and arts (with a heavy emphasis on writing). Studied 3-D graphics and animation. Studied classical piano at the University of North Texas. Earned continuing education credits in Microsoft Access.
