Whale Watching Station, Umpqua

Across the road from the Umpqua lighthouse is a spot designated as a Whale Watching Station. Whales pass by the Oregon and Washington coast twice a year on their migrations. Peak time is in November as they head south; another peak occurs in March as they return north.
