* More than 18 years experience with a wide range of Macintosh computers and software. December 1999 to April 2001 — Desktop Publishing/Pre-press department of Xyan printing, Dallas, TX. Worked with a wide range of publishing software on both Macintosh and Windows computers. Did electronic pre-press work for traditional offset printing as well as Xerox DocuTech and DocuColor systems.
November 1998 to December 1999 — Freelance work in design, editing and print production, including long-term assignments with ABC Radio Disney, LaserTech Color, PGC Advertising and the Dallas Morning News.
April 1994 to October 1998 — Editor/Writer/ Production Manager/Webmaster for Quest Publishing Company, Dallas, Texas, publishers of Treatment Today magazine, Paradigm magazine, and others. Designed company web site. Developed and managed database files for subscribers, advertisers, etc.

Graduated Magna Cum Laude with a bachelor of arts degree in Interdisciplinary Studies from the University of Texas at Dallas in 1992. The degree combines computer science and arts with emphasis on writing. Also studied classical piano at the University of North Texas and Psychology at Fort Lewis College in Durango, Colorado. Earned continuing education credits in Adobe Photoshop CS2, InDesign CS2, and Microsoft Access.
