As a local reenactment unit we are relatively new. Several of us in the Chicagoland area have
been actively involved in Gemina Martia Victrix for several years. We currently have five
legionnaires from the greater Chicagoland region. The original founder of Legio XIV who has since passed
on, based the unit out of Shorewood, Wisconsin. Several years ago our current Centurion, Romulus Theodosious
Pius, inherited the honor of sustaining and growing the history of this proud and noble Roman military unit.
We now count in our ranks more than twenty Romans who actively participate with other units throughout the country in
