We are building an RV8 and, as you can see, we cut an access panel between the
forward baggage compartment and the back of the instrument panel. This is where we mounted the fuse panels.
A couple of the pictures are of the back of the fuse panels. The yellow
thing is a Schottky diode between the main bus and the endurance bus. Then when the door is closed, we have the very neat
and professional looking installation, with access to the fuses without having to open the panel.
