David Segal Violins, Ltd. has a fine line of instruments by many makers - antique and modern - including those made by David Segal himself. The shop regularly carries instruments made by Stradivarius, Guarineri del Gesu, Testore, Lupot, Bernadel, Gagliano, Busan and Fagnola, among others. Several of the modern makers featured in addition to David Segal are Nathaniel Rowan, Dan Salini and Frederik Bethke.

The shop also offers a wide selection of bows including those made by Sartory, Voirin, Maire, Peccatte, Pajeot and Lamy. Several modern makers are also well-represented, such as Matthias Lehner, Jose Dacunha and Albert Nurnberger.

The shop buys and sells instruments - both from its collection and on consignment. A trade-in or upgrade is an available and often attractive option, especially when buying instruments for growing children.
