The Inside Passage of Alaska Day 5 and 6

Today we spent in port at Ketchikan Alaska. It was another cold, nasty rainy day. that appears to be the theme here in Alaska.

We walked around the neighborhood while waiting to attend the lumberjack show we were attending.

We were sitting on the Dawson Creek Camp side. We got to watch these guys do all the typical lumberjack stuff they do during competition.

Afterwards it was time for a pint of Alaskan Amber. We spent the rest of the day just hanging out in town and back on the boat.

The evening was spent on high seas with lots and lots of rolling motion. Thank heaven for Dramamine, and tomorrow promises to be the same.

After 24 hours of high seas, we finally got back to the nice calm inside passage. When going through different parts of the passage we were guided by a Pilot boat.

Mom is still a little green, but recovering with tea and a view.

The next day we arrive in Vancouver, take a bus to Seattle and fly home on Sunday.
