An airboat ride in Flordia 2001

While in Florida for the launch of STS108, we also got to go on an airboat ride with Mom and Dad (Chris and Lisa). We saw about 5 bald eagles that day.

Just to give and idea of the area we were boating through

We also so a big gator, lots and lots of birds, and gorgeous landscapes

During the ride, our driver drove us up onto a hill, where we chatted for a while and checked out the engine. There are no photos of the trip back to the dock because we asked the right question..."How fast can this thing go?"
