About us
We started dating while we were attending Canon McMillan High School in 1960. I attended Clarion State College where I was a member of Alpha Gamma Phi fraternity and graduated from the Pittsburgh Institute of Mortuary Science. We have been married, since 1967. We have two sons, J.D., Jr. with his wife Tammy and Nick with his wife Robin, two grandsons, Garrett Lloyd Sollon and Nicholas Paul Sollon; and two grand daughters , Shelby Lynne Sollon, and Madison Paige Sollon; three step-grandchildren, , Jordon Shaw, Megan and Tyler Fairbanks. Lifelong area residents, we own and operate a funeral service in our hometown, Canonsburg, PA. We are also involved in aviation, although we don't fly ourselves, anymore. Our hobbies include our grandchildren, Hudson antique cars and activities, restoring Hudson's, flea markets, travel, going to our camp in the Elk County, Pennsylvania mountains and deer hunting. We have no formal automotive training, other than what we have learned, while restoring our Hudson's; and no formal computer training, other than what I have learned here.
