In addition to the value-added services explained in ABOUT S & A, Shlian and Associates, Inc. works with a client company to:

• Develop a job description that is clear and appropriate for each position
• Conduct a local and/or national salary survey as needed
• Pre-qualify all prospective candidates through interviews, reference checks, credentialing, etc. prior to sending only the most qualified to the client organization for their review and consideration
• Closely follow the interview process and assist with contract negotiations once a suitable candidate has been identified and an offer is to be made
• Follow-up on a regular basis with both the client company and the new employee for at least a year after a placement is made to be sure an optimal transition has been achieved
