This Art Page is dedicated to the human condition.

It is a realization to this artist, through research, that many organizations provide food for hungry souls throughout the world. A very large and intense cause where many humans are getting food to nourish their bodies on a daily basis, actively exists in many areas of this country. What this artist found however was that in her own community fellow humans were going to bed hungry on a daily basis. Even though there are organizations in the area that provide food, this food is distributed thinly to the various food banks leaving some, many times with only a few staples. Many times the food leaves the shelves as fast as it is stacked. Many times the shelves are only replenished during the giving season leaving the rest of the year scarce. I believe that food is one of the needs on the pyramid of love and it must be provided first at the family level and then the community level. The intent of this artist is to paint for food year round to extend the wave of prosperity from the easel to the community food bank. Art is culture. Art is nourishment to the spirit, the emotions, and the mind and now it can be used to help nourish the body.

Fifty percent of the money received for the art on this page goes to buying food and paper products for the local food banks in my area.
