Ariel’s 19th birthday!!!!!!! My baby is now an adult, and she has to spend the day traveling for 8 hours on a bus all the way to Santiago, Chile. We got up at 3:00am this morning so that we could maybe take a warm/cold shower for the first time in 10 days, and we did. By 5:00am we were on the road.

We arrived in Santiago at about 1:30pm and went straight to the Teleferico; we rode up and down on the gondola which gave us a great aerial view of Santiago. After that we went to the Artisan Mercado for some much needed shopping for souvenirs.
This was a lot of fun. After spending all of our Chilean money, we headed out to the airport to get checked-in. We ate pizza for supper, and nestled in our terminal to await our flight to go home.

Ariel had a non-eventful 19th birthday with a lot of traveling in between. Poor baby, but then again, how many people can say that they turned 19 in Chile? Right!!!

Today I saw God in a lot of places. He got us to Santiago without any problems or mishaps. Now we wait for our flight to go home. The count down is ON!
