Today was the best day yet! All the walls are up, we worked hard and nonstop and by 3:30pm we were done. Tonight we’re having a church dedication and a communion service at the new site, so we need to get ready and be back here by 7:30pm.

Sunday we will start on the roof and that is exciting. We have almost completed this Maranatha church. So for now adios!

Friday Night:

The communion service was so sacred. The little church looked beautiful and the members were in awe. However, it was cold!! This is the beginning of the fall season in Chile and the weather was quite a surprise for us. None of us packed any warm clothes, so it took us all by surprise. We froze our butts off, remember we didn’t have any roof yet!

Today I saw God in the faces of these people coming together for communion services, and in their appreciation of their new church. Their faces were so happy. At the end of the day it is the unselfish giving that bonds us together under the same God.
