This morning we got up and got ready for church. We ate breakfast and off to church we went. Church was great. It was a high Sabbath. The church members were so welcoming to our group and so grateful to have us there. No matter where you go, or what language you speak, the Christian language is the same everywhere. After church we came back to the hotel, changed clothes and headed out to this university campus to eat our sack lunches. The weather was beautiful and everyone had a great time. After lunch we drove out to this fisherman’s wharf and walked around for a while. The smell was “atrocious and disgusting”, but we had a good time anyway. We came back to our hotel had supper and worship and went to bed.

I was able to email home today for the first time, which is really good, because I’m a little homesick. Today I thought about Scott and my doggies all day, and I wondered what they were doing. I knew Scott was on-call so I knew he was busy, but my babies were home without me! The only good thing was there are only nine more days to go.
Tomorrow will be our second day of work. It is now 11:00pm so my bed is calling. Good night!
Today I saw God in the faces of the church members. Their gratitude and appreciation for us being there was well shown to us. We have a wonderful God and anything we do for others we do for him. To HIM is the glory! Dios es amor.
