Today was a very successful day. We were up by 6:30am, had worship, ate breakfast and off to the worksite we went. Our first day of work, considering the kind of day we had the last 24 hours with all our travels, was quite productive! Once at the site, we had a brief meeting about the work we were about to do, had circle prayer and off to work we went. We first started with the famous “Block and Roll”, and then we got divided into groups for specific tasks. We worked like eager beavers, fast and furious!

We stopped for lunch and went right back to work. We got back to the hotel at about 6:00pm. We were exhausted. Every muscle hurt and every inch of flesh ached! But oh well… thank God for anti-inflammatory pills. Thanks baby for sending along with Mr. Aleve along with me!
All in all, it was a great day. We got our first 2 rows of bricks up along the building, and this was just day one. We came back to the hotel, ate supper, showered and went to back to the church for a little social, courtesy of the church members. It was a lot of fun.

Tomorrow is Sabbath, our day of rest! So until later, Adios!
Today I saw God in our team’s eagerness to work hard and make this happen. Fortunately, no one was injured or sick. God is great!
