Sex Therapy is simply an ethical and respectful
way to help people like you overcome sexual problems. We will work together
to help you improve your emotional and sexual intimacy, improve communication, improve pleasure, and enhance physical
response. Discussing your concerns, educating you about solutions, etc.
are important components to our work together. Physical touching is limited to
what occurs between you and your partner in the privacy of your own home

What can I expect from sex therapy and how long does sex therapy last?
Sex Therapy starts with an initial
45-minute session to discuss your concerns and goals. Generally you will be asked to fill out a detailed inventory about your present issues and your sexual history. Following the initial session, individual sessions are scheduled to discuss your responses
on the inventory. As part of the assessment process, you may be referred to your
physician and/or to a psychologist for further evaluation. Following these individual
sessions, I will meet with you to discuss my assessment of your presenting problems and will discuss a therapy plan to
meet your goals. At this time homework assignments will be discussed. The length of time therapy lasts depends on the specific issues you choose to work on and your cooperation
and effort in completing homework assignments.
