Seasdaih
This is "Shay-cee", also affectionately known as Smoo. She adopted me from the animal shelter...er...wait...She
joined my family in October 1997, about 5 months before I actually planned to get a kitty. But I couldn't wait any longer,
so I got her before I got a bed. I have my priorities. According to her info card, the previous family had given
her up because they "had too many cats." Grunt. Their loss. She was very affectionate with me from the get-go,
but very reticent with others, and looked so lonely everytime I left for work that I felt terrible! So in May 1998,
I got...

Aw, he was so leetle! And he's so not now.

|
One of those harmonious moments.

Ricky has a thing for feather wands, catnip mice, and cellophane. Only, he eats the cellophane.

No longer reticent, Seasdaih practices her pose for the cover of PlayKitty.

Brodrick
AKA Ricky, AKA "Buddy" or "Brat". He was adopted from a co-worker who had found four kittens abandoned by their
mama. Originally, I was going to adopt the calico in the group, so my kitties would be similar, but when I went to go
visit them, here was this gangly little kitten with fur sticking out everywhere gamely exploring anything with no hesitation.
He set off on his own and poked at paper scraps, clothing, and electrical sockets with equal fervor. I knew he'd be
perfect. Seasdaih was understandably less enamored and spent three days alternately ignoring him and backing him into
corners, until he finally decided that he'd had enough and bapped her on the nose. Things have been more or less harmonious
since.

Tuff guy! Rescuing mom from the Evil Shaking Snowman Monster.

Seasdaih prefers to snuggle with her trembling angel mouse.

This is Gwen. Yes, I know she's not a cat. This is Todd's St. Bernard, and I suppose once
we're living together, she'll be my step-dog. Besides, look at that face! Once I'm there, I'll likely take a variety
of pictures and give her her own section.
