AARP Driver Safety Program, Maine

 Maine Safe Driver Program

        The safe driver program in Maine is a classroom refresher course for experienced, mature drivers.  It is designed to help drivers learn about defensive driving techniques, new traffic laws, rules of the road and much more.

 

       Also, under provisions of law enacted by the Maine state legislature, drivers 55 years of age and older who complete an approved course like this are eligible for discounts on their auto insurance premiums.  The following is a list of classes currently scheduled:
