WidowFactory has set-up a teamspeak server
at 85.214.27.152:8766. Logon as anonymous and there is no password.
Cold War installation:
For best results
setup a new install of your mmp configuration. This means copy the estisting "RedBaron3D" or "Sierra" folder to a new
folder named "Cold War".
It could look like this:
C:\Programs\Sierra\Cold War\RedBaron3d\
or like this: \Cold War\Sierra\RedBaron3d\.
Next
download the full install of Cold War 4.1 to a folder on your desktop. Unzip this file to the same folder. Now
copy all of the files, except the zipped file, to the /data/multi folder in the Cold War installation. Allow files to
overwrite existing files. When done there should be only files, no folders, in the Cold War mult folder. You should
be good to go. Check at the CSq Cold War server to be sure.
Paints
If you already have the latest issue of Flybert's squadron paints you only need to
download the "Jasta 18 latest squadron paints'. If you need all of the latest paints including the "latest Jasta
18" paints, download the Flybert paint set. The Jasta 18 paints are about 1 MB the Flybert paints are about 47 MB.
Download the Jasta 18 into your Paint folder. Download Flybert's to your Red
Baron folder. I think you will enjoy these paints, I know I do.
Server
Jasta 18 provides a server for the enjoyment of squadron members and friends.
Presently this is sever is configured as a melee server, meaning it is primarily for pilots flying one v. one using whichever
plane they choose.
The url for this server is 24.238.145.247:47804 and is called, appropriately enough,
J18 Cold War melee . The password is j18.
The server currently uses RSS without a client interface. It is expected that,
in time, we will be able to employ RBST for server security. Until that time, we will rely on the password to limit
access.
