- Comments: The Veil supernova remnant in the constellation Cygnus. This is a very poular target both visually and photographically. Best seen through an Oxygen III filter it can be quite spectacular through even smaller scope. The components of the remnant are NGC 6992/6995/IC 1340 at left, NGC 6960, the Witch's Broom, going across the 4.2 magnitude star 52 Cygni at left, and NGC 6972 and 6974 lying between the two.
