Astrophotos

- Location: Mount Pinos, CA
- Date: July 2000
- Subject: Casseopeia/Andromeda and parking lot
- Exposure: ~65 min.
- Lens: Pentax 28mm f/5.6
- Mount: Fixed tripod
- Film: Fuji 800
- Comments: By far the favorite of my astrophotos. The large scope in the foreground is a 25-inch Obsession illuminated by the glow of red flashlights. Casseopeia is to the left of center with the glow of the Milky Way stretching towards the upper right. When the photo was taken I actually forgot that I was taking it. The original scan of this image was terrible but I have since rescanned and reprocessed this shot, much better.
