- Guiding: ST-4 autoguider
- Film: Fuji Super HQ 100
- Comments: One of the most beautiful region of the summer milky way. M8 the lagoon nebula is the bright red region below center and is a fantastic sight through nearly any telescope. M20 the trifid nebula is significantly fainter but even a relatively small telescope will reveal its dark dust lanes at a dark sight. Above and to the left of M20 is the open cluster M21.
