Comments: An easily seen cluster on the eastern side of Coma. This area is full of galaxies, being just north of the famous Virgo Cluster. A few galaxies can be seen. The edge-on spiral NGC 4565 is at the lower left. This galaxy is one of my favorites with a bright core and clearly defined dust lane(see close-up at right). NGC 4494 is just below a brighter star near the bottom of the image to the lower left of the cluster. NGC 4559 is near the upper left, and NGC 4393 is a faint spot just above the center of the cluster.
