Craig Dreeszen is a consultant, author, and teacher. He works nationally to provide solutions through strategic planning, program evaluation, training, organizational development, and meeting facilitation for nonprofit organizations, foundations, and public agencies.

Director, The Arts Extension Service University of Massachusetts Amherst 1990-98.
Directed the national nonprofit arts service, publishing, and professional education organization.

Education Coordinator, The Arts Extension Service University of Massachusetts Amherst 1984-90. Designed, administered and taught a national continuing professional education program. Wrote and edited arts management texts.

Manager of Extension Services, Ontario Crafts Council Toronto, Ontario 1981-83.
Designed and directed an outreach system for regional craft organizations and guilds.

Owner and craftsman, The Otter Workshop 1971-80 Eton Rugby, Ontario.
Built wood and canvas canoes and toys.


Doctor of Philosophy, Regional Planning. 1994 University of Massachusetts Amherst, Dept. of Regional Planning. Conducted the first national study of the impact of community cultural planning.

Master of Education, Organizational Development, 1990 University of Massachusetts Amherst, School Of Education. Created the national Peer Advising Training Program serving 24 states.

Bachelor of Arts, English and Educational Psychology, 1970 University of Nebraska Lincoln. Elected student body president.
