Eight Diagram Palm
Experience the rarest form of Taoist yoga based on the I-Ching and the
movements of wind and water. To martial artists, it is the most advanced of
all martial arts that incorporates Taoist secrets of alchemy and sorcery.
To healers and energy workers, it is the most beautiful and enchanting
example of Taoist physical and energetic poetry. See how Qi Gong, martial
arts, the Taoist Classics and alchemy are all woven into a single art.
Bagua 5 Element Chi Kung Set
Unlock the hidden secrets cleverly composed within the opening sequence of
the Bagua forms--5 static postures woven together in a nourishing cycle that
each correlate with the Five Elements and the organ systems of the body.
These 5 postures are then blended into one dragon-like knot, tying and
untying itself along a circle. This Qi Gong set strengthens balance, the
lower dan tien and the bones on the hips. This is especially useful for
those who worry about fragile hips in old age or have problems in the lower
abdomen or groin area.
Bagua Iron Cloth (Shirt) Moving Qi Gong
Learn the art of walking the circle and weaving the poetry of rolling,
changing, stretching and wrapping with special breathing patterns to create
an ingenious way of enhancing the bone marrow, bones, tendons, muscles, Qi
and blood. Learn how the 4 basic movements of the single palm change (the
nucleus of Bagua) combined with the Dragon Gate circle walking practice
create a synthesis of the forces of nature.
Bagua Silk Reeling Palm
Best described as an art of vortexes woven in a circle, Bagua Silk Reeling
Palm contains all the essential components of Baguazhang (or 8 Diagram
Palm). Stretching every part of the body gently and enhancing every aspect
of the human form, it is one of the most beautiful and hypnotic forms to see
or practice. It adds 4 new movements to the 4 basic movements of the Iron
Cloth Set. It is considered one of the long life practices of the Dragon
Gate Sanctuary.

Sifu Christopher Lee Matsuo
Sifu Christopher Lee Matsuo began his lifelong study of martial arts at a
young age when he was introduced to the principles of Kung Fu by his
grandfather and father. During his high school years, he began studying
Daito Ryu Aikijujitsu, Shorinjin Ryu Ninjitsu and Baguazhang (Eight Diagram
Palm). In 1989, Sifu Matsuo began an intense practical study of Taoist and
Buddhist shamanistic, alchemical and medical Qi Gong practices under
Hidetoshi Mitsuoka and in 1993 Wu Xiao Shr. In 2000, he obtained a degree in
acupuncture and oriental medicine. He currently has a licensed acupuncture
and medical Qi Gong practice in Honolulu, Hawaii. He also is the Lineage holder of
the Dragon Gate Sanctuary of Honolulu, Hawaii, a closed-door school for internal martial arts
and healing arts located at a Buddhist temple. To the select few who are
admitted into the Dragon Gate Sanctuary, Sifu Matsuo teaches Taoist martial
arts, Qi Gong, and Taoist and Tibetan medicine. He also oversees several
branch schools in California and The Big Island of Hawaii. At seminars held
regularly in Arizona and The Big Island of Hawaii, Sifu Matsuo shares the
knowledge he has accumulated throughout the years by bridging the gaps
between arts, lineages and traditions and weaving spiritual growth,
evolution, healing and martial arts. written by Melvin Tabilas
