ECONEWS Television Series

This nation's longest running weekly series has received three EMMY nominations-one in 1986, 1987, and 1991 - and ACE nominations. Various shows have won the Diamond Award and have placed in various festivals including the Aveda U. S. Environmental Film Festival, the Hometown USA Film and Video Festival. These half-hour, weekly shows started airing in 1984 on PBS and cable outlets nationwide. To date over 350 shows on all aspects of the ecological crisis are available for broadcast, cable cast, and on home VHS video cassette. Each program airs about one thousand times in thirty million homes in over 4,000 cities on one hundred cables outlets (local origination, public access, governmental, school, and university channels) and PBS stations.
