The marriage record reads, "Present David Hall and Lucinda Nappier, by John Jones, Methodist." David Hall [Hale] was married to Moses V. Keen's sister, Narcissa. Lucinda Nappier was married to Renard Nappier and is wife, Mary Ann Cole's sister.

Mary Ann Cole was born circa 1826 in Missouri.

She was widowed with death of husband, Plato Keen in 1932.
