Home Page (10/08/02) "Places" image has been replaced.

* Note! in some NS browsers the Search button will be gray and in IE it will be blue. Problems viewing all info boxes in NS 6+.

Home Page Condensed (09/16/02) Logo has been made thinner to provide more space for other content; Floating information boxes on mouseover (3 color schemes shown); User directions added to top of page; Upper navigation bar is on the left to conform to style of other pages.

HP Caption "what can you see" (9/17/02) same as above, different caption on info box.

HP Box FadeUp (9/17/02) Floating information boxes w/o caption fade in.. In NS yellow border is appearing, not blue. Style forces the user to stop on image; boxes have a minimum of text. Only images have info boxes.

HP No Instructions (9/17/02) A version of the page w/o mouse use instructions.

HP New Font (9/19/02) Revised using Verdana (a san serif font). Is this more appealing than Times Roman?

This is the new format. Hierarchy will be in red (L3 & L4). Divide page into 2 tables, so we can move the hierarchies to avoid word wrap.

20 images fills up the screen. Each image is placed in its own table cell to provide a grid to the screen.

Images are a wide range of sizes. Can we even set a standard size for image display or must we allow images to display in their various thumbnail sizes? (9/6/02)

Is text needed to help identify images? Do we use Title, Series? (you can see sample text attached to images as it is now in BT Functionality page).

BT's scrolling style allows more images per page and seems to work easily. If we choose not to control image display size, could this be an alternative?

Html design to illustrate page on which image and all its associated data is displayed. Due to the limitations on linking to the finding aid in EAD, these pages may not be as uniform as desired. Moved 'suggested links' in mock up to below image so they would not be lost at end of page.

In the description, label tags are dynamic and connected to data. If no data, no label. Can the order be preset and can label tags be different color? Subject terms could be hotlinks if technically possible
