I used the "tables" function of Word Perfect to make an 8 x 8 table to get a 9 x 9 grid. Go boards are slightly longer than they are wide. The cells on my table are 0.875 inches by 0.938 inches. I had some left-over zeros (0s) from a set of vinyl stick on letters and used those to make the "star points". Then I laminated the board.
