About Last Night in Seattle. We`ve got a group of friends here-a long-haired slacker couple and an ambitious, clean-cut couple. The two casual couples have little in common with each other except that they all went to school together, live in the Grunge capitol of the world and love the caffeine ozone layer of that year`s hip city.
They`re all attempting to adjust to the post-school (aka "real") world, but have met with indifferent success, both professionally and personally. Various humourous adventures ensue as our humble protagonists pursue new loves and other interests in grunge clubs, coffee bars, office cubicles, video dates and other social venues frequented by the desperate and the boring. (Now, wouldn`t that be a great soap opera title for some new hip WB show instead of, say, Dawson`s Creek!)
After many trials and tribulations, our two slackers and their yuppie compatriots each accepts his individual destiny at work and teams up with the lover of his own kind, as they (and we) always knew was Meant to Be.
Trivia: cameos by most of Pearl Jam, Eric Stoltz, Peter Horton, Tom Skerrit and Soundgarden. Also, Kyra is now married to none other than Kevin Bacon!
